Heyy

How are you today? I hope you have enough energy to follow me on this new adventure in the world of gaming. Yes, we're continuing our video game journey, and this time, there's no download required. I'm going to tell you about a browser game.

As you can see, we'll be diving into mythological legends, meeting characters connected to them, and learning things throughout the chapters. Like any visual novel, you'll have to read as you encounter them, but nothing will be useless: You'll discover more about the world around you or the characters you encounter.

You'll have to choose an avatar between June and Julio when you start a chapter. You can then try it out with the other protagonist who has their own lines. Personally, I'm doing my run with June, but I know I'll do it later with our little guy who likes to nap! The characters we meet all have different personalities, their own stories, and currently, there are still many gray areas. This is completely normal, as not all the chapters have been released yet at the time of writing.

I find the game fascinating, both in its approach and in the explanations gleaned over time. The barrier system means that you're not stopped in the middle of a dialogue or while moving, unlike some others, which went well. Of course, those who don't enjoy reading a lot and prefer anything more action-oriented won't find it suitable.

The illustrations are what allow players to immerse themselves in the universe, to not be mistaken about this or that character and even the inhabitants or those we meet here and there have their own souls. They are not just random NPCs and it is possible to become attached to one or the other… Or to hate them from the bottom of one's being. No, I'm not targeting certain ones in particular. No, no, no.

The choices have a real impact that we discover over time, changing each part, making them unique and making us wonder what it will be like or if such a choice in the past will not have an impact a little too unknown that could fall back on us. Your relationships with others too, being liked or hated can play on certain phases. It is also possible to redo the chapters whether by really starting from scratch or by redoing it just for fun without impacting our initial choices. A good thing that allows us to discover more while remaining on our initial positions.

In browser-based visual novels, it stands out without any problem. We become attached to the protagonist we choose to play, it is not obligatory to make him fall in love with one or the other. There is as much possibility of love as friendship for the illustrations, it is the same for the bars showing the two elements or twisting to black if… we stir up a little hatred of the other character?

When a chapter comes out, I'm delighted to discover it, I'm curious about the possibilities, to see what it will bring to the rest. Even the special chapters have this importance, but if we don't play them we are not penalized for that. We live June and Julio's adventure at our own pace, we discover it with them, we undergo certain events while wondering what to do in their company. Well, I say we... But I'm mainly talking about myself in this article, maybe you won't experience it the same way and that's completely normal. We are all different, our experiences are too and it's beautiful to see that certain characters, certain scenes will make people react in varied ways.

You can guess from this post that I love the universe a lot, that I'm like a child on Christmas Day when something related comes out, even if it doesn't mean I'll fall for it. By the way, for those who enjoy coloring, a coloring book has also been released in a limited edition, so don't hesitate to get it if you like it!

And you, do you play it? Do you want to try?
